About Marc Songini

Marc L. Songini is a Boston-area writer who knows what it’s like to have someone put a revolver to his head. Literally. There was an ensuing fracas–after all, he didn’t hear “please” when the stranger with the weapon asked for his wallet. Soon after, the pistol’s butt was applied to his head, requiring a dozen or more stitches. Songini has also kayaked with whales, snorkeled with a Mexican turtle, and once, at a party, chased a mosquito with a fencing foil (the insect eluded him). He likes reading and writing, tennis, hiking, and good story telling. True fact: He is named after a vaudeville midget who once disrupted Ted Williams (at bat) during a tense game in Fenway Park. The midget was his uncle.
